The traditional scoreboard uses a wooden fascia with a scoring position inside. These are usually existing scoreboards which are refurbished to accommodate our electronic system. Visionworx offers a full onsite consultation service allowing us to advise on planning, construction, board size, design, and control options.

For added security we advise that a roller shutter is used to protect your scoreboard during the closed season and from vandalism.

A custom scoreboard fascia is constructed form 12 mm marine plywood. This is then stained with a weatherproof seal and protective windows are installed. These windows are made from a hardwood outer frame with an anti reflective, anti shatterproof lexan insert. This ensures weatherproofing and protects the digits.

As with the boxed scoreboards a variety of digit sizes and colours can be combined in any scoreboard to enable certain categories to stand out, such as Overs in a different colour, larger Total, smaller Batsman numbers and so on.

Bishops Stortford CC2

The scoreboards electronic kit is designed in such a way that any scoreboard can be added to in the future if more information is required. Providing the space on the fascia is available.
