Call Forward Systems
The Call Forward System is a vehicle management system for transport, delivery and cargo companies. It provides a vehicle management type system to organise multiple vehicle delivery and collections.
There are a number of systems available from simple display and keypad to fully integrated software based system. We can even interface the Call Forward Displays to operate with customers own software systems.
Displays can vary from simple numerical displays to full matrix display showing vehicle number plate details and messaging and logos.

The simplest operation enables the information to be shown on the Call Forward Display. This maybe extended to entry of multiple details, which are displayed at pre-set intervals. Additional. Call Forward Displays or keypads can be added to extend the system.
The next level of complexity allows interaction between loading bays/doors and the central
control. Door controllers provide indication of when a vehicle arrives so the vehicle can be
removed from the Call Forward System. The System is then free to allocate the next
vehicle in the queue.
Software control allows customisation and far more flexibility of control. A typical system may
comprise of a central control PC, Printer, Door Controller and multiple Call Forward Displays.
Bays maybe suspended or assigned specific functions, queued vehicles can be manipulated
and the printer allows dockets to be printed and hard copy records kept. Vehicle details arrival
and loading times can be recorded and then can be analysed to provide average waiting times
of particular doors etc. Data can be exported to word or excel for analysis.
A system can also be integrated with a client’s own software by a simple interface. Additional
displays can be used for showing additional functions such as current waiting times, number in
in the queue etc.
